Iranian e-commerce scientific association has been established to develop and scientifically promote e-commerce, enhance qualitative growth of the specialized forces and improve research and training programs in e-commerce. The request of establishing the association was reviewed and approved in Iranian scientific association commission in ministry of science, research and technology on 30/6/2009 and finally via the letter no. 2416/3 dated 14/7/2009 was communicated to the board of founders.

The sixth meeting of the specialized committee of developing electronic commerce and economy development roadmap was held in deputy of information technology and e-commerce development, ministry of industry, mine and trade on September 25, 2012. The representatives of different organizations attended this meeting and some topics such as the received comments of different organizations and completion of the roadmap of electronic commerce and economy were discussed and reviewed. At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Paryab, the project manager of developing electronic commerce and economy development roadmap welcomed the audiences and provided some explanations about the submitted comments by different organizations. Also he emphasized on necessity of private sector participation in different economic sectors of country and noted that developing electronic commerce and economy development roadmap is a good opportunity to use private sector capacities. Then Mrs. Oyarhossein provided some explanations about the received comments and added some points about corrections and revisions have been made to the roadmap. She explained the process of developing roadmap and noted that electronic commerce and economy development roadmap is one the outputs of the sixth national conference on electronic commerce and economy which was held within the frame of seven topics. She also asked the representatives of organizations to study the roadmap carefully and provide their suggestions in the form of strategies and based on the strategies which have been included in the roadmap, list their suggesting projects. Next, Dr. Bornaee mentioned some points about training and human skills which grasped the attention of audiences. Then Mr. Abbasian, the director general of presidency research and planning; Mr. Hajilari, the advisor of minister of labor and social affairs and Mr. Rezvan, the head of planning of presidency IT center, provided their comments about completion of electronic commerce and economy development roadmap. At the end, Mr. Paryab added some complementary explanations and answered to the questions. He noted that the next meeting of the committee will be held on October 9, 2012.
