Iranian e-commerce scientific association has been established to develop and scientifically promote e-commerce, enhance qualitative growth of the specialized forces and improve research and training programs in e-commerce. The request of establishing the association was reviewed and approved in Iranian scientific association commission in ministry of science, research and technology on 30/6/2009 and finally via the letter no. 2416/3 dated 14/7/2009 was communicated to the board of founders.

The forth meeting of the specialized committee of developing electronic commerce and economy development roadmap was held with presence of different organizations representatives, in deputy of information technology and e-commerce development, ministry of industry, mine and trade on September 2, 2012. During this meeting, some topics concerning the completion of the roadmap of electronic commerce and economy were discussed and reviewed. At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Paryab, the project manager of developing electronic commerce and economy development roadmap welcomed the audiences and added some explanations about the submitted comments by different organizations. He noted that more than 40 meetings have been held with presence of different organizations and more than 100 comments have been provided by different firms and organization. Then Dr. Mousavian, the deputy vice-chancellor of research and training of Islamic republic of Iran broadcasting, stated that the horizon of developing electronic commerce and economy development roadmap will be 2025 and suggested that some new communication services such as the new generation of mobiles, etc. to be included in the roadmap. Next Mr. Mahmoud Saeedi, the representative of Ministry of Jihad-e-Agriculture, appreciated developing of electronic commerce and economy development roadmap and said that his organization is ready to help in incorporation of comments. Then Dr. Habibi, head of computer faculty in Sharif University of technology, provided some explanation about the manner of relating this document to upstream documents and suggested that there should be a regular schedule to update the document. Next Mr .Razi, head of e-government development affairs of Vice-Presidency for Management and Human Capital Development, suggested that the executor and coordinator of the roadmap should be specified so that this document can be implemented and can be put into practice. In addition, he noted that in order to avoid overlapping the defined projects and avoid duplication, the projects priority in frame of a time schedule should be specified. At the end, Mr. Paryab added some complementary explanations and answered to the questions. Also he asked the organizations to send their proposals and comments by September 5, 2012 and said that after summation and incorporation of the submitted comments, the final version will be send to committee members on September 9, 2012. Also he noted that the next meeting of the committee will be held on September 16, 2012 so that the organizations representatives can submit their complementary comments about the applied proposal and comments of different organizations and the final document.
